I am a linguist, specializing in language description and analysis. My interests include community engagement in fieldwork, language variation, morphology, and tone.
I work closely with faculty, graduates, undergraduates, and native speakers to foster a community of collaboration in language work. I see research, mentorship, and outreach as interconnected paths moving towards a common goal.
I value analyzing and disseminating field data and encourage collaboration. Let me know if you want to talk about any of my research projects.
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching language and linguistics to Pre-K through adult students in four countries.
I have been lucky enough to work on valuable and meaningful projects inside and outside of Indiana University.
